Looming war threatens all Feyre holds dear in the third volume of the #1 New York Times bestselling A Court of Thorns and Roses series.
Feyre has returned to the Spring Court, determined to gather information on Tamlin’s maneuverings and the invading king threatening to bring Prythian to its knees. But to do so she must play a deadly game of deceit-and one slip may spell doom not only for Feyre, but for her world as well.
As war bears down upon them all, Feyre must decide who to trust amongst the dazzling and lethal High Lords-and hunt for allies in unexpected places.

I admit that the only reason I read the ACOTAR was because I was literally bored. But as I started going through the pages I felt something, it was as if the bond snapped! I needed more. Curiosity began to rise the moment Feyre traded herself to Tamlin in exchange for the freedom of her family. It started from that part and now I love every bits of it. It’s soooo good! I’ve waited for so long for the third installment and it was worth it. I didn’t know how Sarah put it together but she did a pretty good job in wrapping this one. She gave me millions of heart attacks! Lol It was that good and now I can’t wait for next installment even though there was a part that I was worried… For Nesta

“I have no regrets in my life, but this. That we did not have time. That I did not have time with you, Nesta. I will find you in the next world – the next life. And we will have that time. I promise.”

I got some parts I did not like only because it was heart breaking to read. I wanted to be a character to save The Suriel, The Bone Carver and the human father. I even wanted to be Azriel’s partner! I was that attached when I was reading it. I had so many “if only I could” moments and for that I thank Sarah for creating such a wonderful piece, full of emotions and twists.

My favorite part/ best part was when Rhysand was trying to destruct Feyre.

I love you, he whispered into my mind.

The First Crack was healed.

Then the second.

“I tried to turn–

I love you, he said again

The third and final crack began to heal over.

I turned.

He looked like he was sleeping. But as I breathed in—

Wew! I’ll stop from there, but yes it was intense! 😦

Extra:

  • I read some reviews about Tamlin on this book but I still love him no matter what. I love Rhys too but Tamlin was my first love.
  • I loved how the author described Feyre’s gown, the one she wore for the meeting with the highlords. ( The gown from Starfall)
  • Velaris is such a nice place to live
  • Amren was so cool especially on the last chapter (I won’t spoil too much on this review)
  • Rhysand and Feyre are so sexy! This book is sexy! Bow.
  • Remember the vampire in Breaking Dawn? The one who betrayed the Cullens and went to Vulturi? I imagined Nesta’s face.
  • And I hate the Cauldron!

Over all I will still give ACOWAR five stars even though I felt something is missing or lacking perhaps? But since there will be a fourth book, what’s lacking might be revealed in the next chapter including Cassian’s and Nesta’s.
